For one of the largest lime and cement manufacturers in Europe, we delivered a tailor-made CHP container solution with an MWM gas engine unit TCG 3020 V20 at the site in Belgium. The plant covers the base load of the factory while maximizing the efficiency of waste heat utilization.
A particular highlight of the project: The exhaust heat of over 400 °C is specifically integrated into the internal drying processes. This significantly increases the plant’s energy efficiency and reduces the use of external resources – a clear contribution to greater sustainability in production. The switch to future biogas operation is already prepared.
